BED SORES NATURAL PRACTICAL CURE Home Remedies
When people are confined to bed for long periods of time due to some illness, the blood supply to the immobile areas is greatly reduced, resulting in ulcers which form open wounds, called Bed Sores.
First of all, it is very important to prevent Bed Sores by moving the position of the person regularly and supporting with any kind of soft cushion. The person needs to be bathed with a very Mild Soap, dried thoroughly, and then Talcum Powder applied to the sore areas.
Moisture not only enhances the risk of Bed Sores, but also of infection. When Bed Sores happen, they need to be kept clean to prevent infection from setting in.
Aloe Vera provides good relief for BedSores. Take a piece of an Aloe Vera Leaf, and gently remove the outer part. Remove the gel like substance from within. Very gently apply this gel over the Bed Sores, rubbing it in for 2-3 minutes.
Take a clean Soft Cloth, dampen it, and wash off the gel. Do this a couple of times a week to get rid of from BedSores.
In a double boiler, put some honey and equal amount of fine sugar. Mix it well over low heat. Remove and let it cool till tepid. Apply it over the Bed Sores areas. besides the above, ensure a diet rich in Vitamins to enhance fast healing. When a person is already bed ridden, Bed Sores are certainly not desirable, so take utmost precautions to avoid the same.
